Hi, I'm Rasika * Founder of Studio Nyoman *
I’m a French-Balinese freelance graphic designer and instructional designer, currently based in France. For me, design is about connections between cultures, ideas and people. I’d love to help bring your vision to life.
With roots in both France and Bali, my mixed culture has always been a source of inspiration and creativity. I first fell in love with photography and photo editing, which led me into the world of graphic design. I found a perfect space to blend curiosity, aesthetics and communication.
After earning my diploma in graphic design, I began travelling through Asia and started freelancing in 2018. Experiencing so many cultures taught me that while styles and needs vary, the desire for beauty is universal. We all connect to what moves us visually and that’s what allows design to carry meaning across borders.
Since then, I’ve had the joy of working with creative entrepreneurs and ambitious individuals from Indonesia, India, Ireland, the UK, the US, Australia, France, Switzerland, and Germany.
Alongside freelancing, I strengthened my path with formal studies. In 2022, I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, Politics and Civilisations from Sorbonne University. It helped me deepen my understanding of language, culture, and the power of communication.
In 2024, I completed a Master’s in Digital Humanities, blending social sciences with technology. That same year, I officially launched Studio Nyoman, combining my skills in graphic design and instructional design to support projects that are both creative and impactful.
The process of design I am presenting for Studio Nyoman comes from this desire for simplicity and clarity I wish to achieve in my designs. A simplified onboarding process gives more time for refining your project.
Lasting design doesn't come from rushing or cutting corners. But exciting design isn't the opposite of bad design. Peaceful and authentic design is. That's why I stick with projects until they find their natural balance.
I’ve always been fascinated by how things work, and why they do. This curiosity helps me create designs that aren’t just pretty, but effective and memorable. Over time, I’ve also experimented with ways to make the creative process easier, so clients can spend less time on admin and more time focusing on what matters: creating and reinventing.
Art and creation are not just my profession but also my way of living. Recently, I wrote a short book identity and started selling prints of my artwork. These projects allow me to explore and share different sides of my creativity.
